   Cory Wood

Cory Wood began his radio career in the 1990’s in Billings, Butte, and Great Falls before arriving in Helena on KBLL in 1997. He started on afternoons but soon went to the night shift and hosted call-in shows The Total Request Zone, and Cryin, Lovin and Leavin from 7pm to midnight for many years.

In 2003 Cory Wood took over the morning drive with “Waking up with Cory Wood”. A year later, he started working the afternoon drive for Z101, Helena’s Classic Rock, a position he held for nine years. In 2007 Cory decided to try a change in format and took the morning position on B104 Helena’s First Hit Music Station. Cory became the Program Director for KHLN which, after a couple format flips and a frequency change, is now DAVE FM.

After leaving the business for two years he returned in 2016 to afternoons on B104 and recently returned “home” to the BULL (after a 10 year absence) on air from 2-6pm.
